LATIN AMERICA Argentina Argentina's trade surplus widened in July to $1 billion from $517 million in the same month a year earlier, the National Statistics Institute said in a statement. Exports rose 53 percent to $7 billion while imports rose 46 percent to $6 billion, the institute said in Buenos Aires. Argentine doesn't plan a new offer to investors who refused to accept the terms of a 2005 restructuring of defaulted debt, Cabinet chief Sergio Massa said.
