Finance Ministry published a budget deficit of HUF 58.4bn for September 2008 Finance Ministry published a budget deficit of HUF 58.4bn for September, taking the cumulative deficit for the first nine months of the year to HUF 731bn, 70.8% of latest full-year CF-based deficit forecast. The September monthly deficit figure proved to be lower than the ministry’s preliminary forecast of HUF 80.5bn, mainly due to the lower than predicted deficit of the central state budget.
