Hungary's government and central bank (MNB) are to provide 600bn forint (USD 2.95bn) to shore up the Hungarian bank sector. The injection is part of the USD 25bn IMF/EU rescue package for Hungary, and will be used to recapitalise the country's banks. Read More...
