Manufacturing ISM Index (August, Tuesday 10:00 ET) F: 48.5 C: 50.0 P: 49.6 Although manufacturing activity has benefited from solid demand abroad, a slowdown in domestic consumption and rising inventories are likely to limit its pace. Therefore, we expect the manufacturing ISM to remain below its breakeven point of 50 in August.
