Many Yahoo (YHOO: 27.8699 +0.2098 +0.76%) shareholders thought that Microsoft (MSFT: 29.5401 -0.4499 -1.50%) wasn’t done with Yahoo even when it said that it was walking away from the takeover bid. Some investors like billionaire Carl Icahn decided to take matters into their own hands and work on a hostile takeover of Yahoo. Now Microsoft has come back to Yahoo and proposed a deal which would involve some sort of partnership or joint-venture rather than a full Microsoft takeover of Yahoo. This
