US Treasuries eke out some modest gains |

Markets: Fixed Income On Friday, global bonds traded mixed, as US Treasuries gained ground on the weak performance of the US equity markets, while mainly the short end of the European bond market suffered from another upward surprise in the German inflation data. The latter is likely to push euro zone headline inflation further above the 3% level in March and yielded already some hawkish comments of ECB?s Weber and Stark.
